$60 / Hour .......

This 60 minute massage uses a combination of Swedish and Therapeutic strokes with the aid of warmed stones. These warmed stones penetrate muscle tension and stiffness faster, taking you to a deeper dimension of relaxation.

PENETRATING HEAT

Soothes, Sedates and Comforts

This treatment is the ultimate way to pamper your sore and tired muscles. As the heat moves through your body, it increases the effectiveness of massage. Coupling warmth with massage allows the fascia to soften, making it easier to reach those sore spots deep in the muscle tissue and create lasting changes in painful areas of the body. It also "jump starts" chakras (energy storehouses) and meridians (energy pathways), leaving you feeling clear and energized.

Heat is known to Increase:

  • Circulation

  • Metabolism

  • Respiration

  • Flow of oxygen and nutrients to the skin

Heat is known to Decrease:

  • Pain

  • Muscle spasms

  • Stiffness

  • Recovery time

Heat should not be used immediately after injury, this includes but is not limited to strains, sprains, burns or bruises and is also not recommended if you have any of the following:

  • Swelling

  • Tumors

  • Infection or open wounds

  • Phlebitis

  • Hypertension

  • Diabetes

  • Cardiac Impairment

  • CVA survivors

  • Fever

  • Malignancy

  • Sensory impairments

  • Pregnancy

Located in St. Charles, Missouri, 636 Massage practices massage therapy to focus on health and wellness.  Through massage, we help alleviate the effects of health conditions which include pain, stress and muscle injury.

The growing popularity of massage therapy in recent years has attracted greater attention to the profession and its practitioners by the media and the public. While this increased attention has resulted in a wider recognition of the many benefits of massage, occasionally some public figures attempt to link the practice of massage therapy to sexual activity.

Perpetuating this view not only demeans the profession of massage therapy, but also can threaten the physical safety of massage practitioners when an assumption is made that someone can demand sex from them.

636 Massage guarantees a professional massage experience in the St. Louis area.
